KC is certified in the Suzuki Piano Method. The Suzuki method works mostly with memorization. This method is ideal for younger students and beneficial for older students as well. KC has taught in many schools, using this method along with traditional methods. 

KC teaches various styles of piano and keyboards, including classical, jazz, and rock. The fundamentals of reading music and theory are an important part of her lessons. KC has taught piano at Montclair State University, and independent music schools. She also taught keyboards at The School Of Rock. KC now focuses on private students.
